At certain magic moments while listening to music I find that it ceases to be simply an arrangement of notes produced by various sound generating objects into a coherent whole. The music becomes liquid, liquid sound that washes over me, drenches me, cleanses me of all worldly cares, transports me to a Nirvanic world where it’s always sunrise, jannah where flowers are continually blooming, a paradise with cool ocean breezes rolling off the waves, a partial glimpse at the glory of heaven where angels sing praised to God.
