Fingers of God

Frozen Memories

One extraordinary gift we received almost every day in the Philippines was a spectacular sunset and, if I woke early enough, an equally spectacular sunrise. For two days we stayed at the Jasmine Beach Resort where we had an amazing view of the Western Sky over the island of East Leyte. The resort was run down and the water was chock full of weeds so this was the saving grace for our two days at the resort. I like to think of the rays descending from clouds as the fingers of God caressing His created earth.
