Shri Mangeshi Temple Goa


Frozen Memories

Our Goan driver told us they probably wouldn’t allow Westerners into this temple. Thankfully, they did. However, pictures were strictly forbidden on the inside which is a shame because the interior of these temples tend to be ornate with lots of silverwork. While there, a gentleman associated with the temple gave us a personal tour of the grounds after which he asked for a ‘tip’. I offered some rupees but he wanted US dollars. I explained to him I was living in India and only had rupees. He then accepted the rupees tip.
