Fire In The Smokys

Frozen Memories

Fire in the Smokys Fire in the Smokys

The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee is home to one the most biologically diverse forests on the planet. As Fall rolls around with it’s cooler temps and shortening days, the chlorophyll is triggered to pull back into the trees which unmasks the colors previously hidden in the leaves. With each specie of tree having it’s own unique color, there are time in the warming light of sunrise or sunset that the landscape seems to be on fire.
