It had been a long time since I was able to admire flowers during the winter so, while awaiting our departure for Koh Samed island, I was killing time playing with my camera and taking pictures of the lovely Thailand flora. I saw a nice pink flower in full shade and moved that way to try out the macro setting on my lens when I happened upon this little character hiding in the pink petals. I loved it’s impossibly big eyes accenting the translucent body.

I took a bunch of pictures hoping at least one would come out with enough clarity to satisfy my demanding standards. I looked away for a moment when someone called my name. When I returned my gaze to the flower, the spider had disappeared which led me to the question, who was watching who?
