Holi Trinity

Frozen Memories

David, Marianna, and Daniel David, Marianna, and Daniel

This is me with my friends from Barcelona, Marianna and Daniel. I ran into them at a coffee shop early in the day before I had begun playing Holi. By this time, they were deeply colored. At their invite, I joined them and Dola to participate in the festival. We walked the streets of Pune wishing Holi and spreading color. As we walked, people would stop their motorcycles (which were typically driving very fast) run over to us, dust us with color, give us a hug and wish Happy Holi. I think I smiled more this day than I had any day since arriving in India.
