This picture is of my dad with his sons and sons-in-law. The entire family gathered together on this night to honor my father and my mother with heart felt words we wrote and read out loud. I could not read mine so my sister did the honors for me. It was titled “WWJRD-What Would Janet & Rich Do”. The essence of the piece was, as I raised my kids and I had a problem, I routinely dipped into their wisdom and thought to myself, what would mom and dad do in this situation. Generally, I followed what I thought they would do. It is in large part to their legacy that my kids turned into such awesome adults.
