It’s been over two years since I visited Cappadocia, Turkey and still can’t get over the amazing castles created by both the elements and the hands of people. The elements carved the landscape through millennia of wind, water, heat, and cold into a land of surreal beauty. People hollowed out the sandstone mountains and made them homes, churches, stables, exquisite living quarters.
They say dogs view the world through monochrome vision. As much as I love seeing in color, I sometimes think their view may be the view that best captures natural beauty. Bees vision extends into the non visible (for humans) spectrum. I wonder what this land looks like through their eyes.
