Peek A Boo

Frozen Memories

Peek A Boo Monkey Peek A Boo Monkey

I had originally planned not to publish this picture thinking my blog may have too many monkey pictures. However, I felt that little guy in the middle, the one nestled against mama’s warm belly, deserved a showing to the world. He (or she) looks like an old man, the wrinkly, thin hand almost emaciated. Yet, it looks comfortable, content – a state too many humans fail to achieve with their insane quest to obtain more and more things.

Another reason to publish this photo is that I will be leaving India and moving back to the US. The Midwest US is devoid of monkeys (except those in the prisons called zoos). Back home, I will not have the opportunity to take monkey pics so I might as well publish them while I can.
