Purple Passion

Frozen Memories

Purple Flower Purple Flower

The garden at Kopan Monastery had a number of flowers in bloom including the purple and cream flower in this photo. These were profuse in their number. I am not sure what they are called. In the long run, the name does not really matter, does not capture the beauty nor can we glean the essence of a being from a name. Names are simply a man made construct enabling us to communicate. Though the name is irrelevant to me enjoying the beauty of the flower, I would still like to know it’s name.

Can anyone enlighten me?
