The Mystical Lotus

Frozen Memories

Purple Lotus of Spirituality and Mysticism Purple Lotus of Spirituality and Mysticism

The pond at Dumbala contained a single, purple lotus flower, the purple lotus speaks of spirituality and mysticism. Just a single purple lotus surrounded by a half dozen of the pink variants representing purity of the body, speech, and mind. The juxtaposition of these two variants of lotus seems appropriate as, to achieve transcendent levels of spirituality and mysticism, one must be pure of body, speech and mind. Well, at least, as pure as humanely possible for we are humans with human frailties.
