Pink Flower

Frozen Memories

I like to spend my time in Chicago riding a bicycle on the many streets and paths ordained for this purpose. It brings me into intimate contact with places one can’t adequately experience from the four wheeled cage. On this day, I also came into intimate contact with a rain shower. While riding in the vicinity of Buckingham Fountain, I came upon these lovely pink flowers. I really appreciate that Chicago does it’s part in creating spots of beauty in the urban jungle.

  1. Nice post. I agree the only way to see things is on foot or on a bike. Even then some things are gone too quick. and it is the only way to stop and smell the hibiscus !
