What Color is Your Elephant?

Frozen Memories

Colorful Elephant Colorful Elephant

There are three options to get to Amber Fort from street level…driving up the backside, walking up the steps, an elephant ride. My daughter took the elephant up. I took the steps. I took the steps for two reasons. Primarily, because my fiance was disappointed that we could not ride the elephants when she visited India in early 2014. If I’m going to ever ride an elephant again, it will be with her. The other reason was that I wanted to photograph my daughter as she and her boyfriend enjoyed their ride. Some of the elephants making the short trek were decorated in lovely colors. This is one of the colorful beauties.
