Female Is A Mutilated Male ~Aristotle

Female is a mutilated male. ~Aristotle

If Aristotle was female, let’s call her Ariella, perceiving the world from a woman-centric view, this could easily have been written, “Man is a woman with abnormal growths.”

Aristotle is considered one of the smartest people to ever have lived. He definitely missed the brain train here. The original quote would ring truer if he wrote, “Woman is mutilated by male.” For, historically, men have done everything in their power to subjugate women up to and including violently denying them a rightful seat at the adult’s (meaning men’s) table.

The written history of the world, written primarily by men, is one where woman is dehumanized, cast as substandard, defective, evil, sorcerous, the source of original sin, physically flawed, mentally inadequate, the male burden. Unless she is a vestal virgin with perfect form in which case she is forced upon an impossible pedestal, an object of unattainable, abject perfection. The pedestal also dehumanizes.

Our ‘enlightened’ age fails to value a woman’s worth. In some Islamic countries, women are not permitted to appear in society unless accompanied by a male guardian. The Catholic church prohibits them the role of priest, a role where empathy, seemingly core at the heart of woman, reigns supreme over men. They are ‘kept in their rightful place’ when they receive lower pay than men performing the exact same job.

Men need to wake up to reality and understand they will never experience the power of woman by subjugating her to the role of subservient servant. Men need a balancing partner to help navigate life.

Left to his own accord…well…we see the folly of men assuming control of the world. We get the shit show that is history, the shit show that is now, the shit show that will be our future unless we view woman as a fully capable, equal partner in all roles of society.
