When Good Is Evil

Don’t treat people as bad as they are, treat them as good as you are. ~H.H. Dalai Lama

Most people would say they are a bastion of righteousness, opposed to the unrighteous. We are correct, they are wrong. We are good people, they are bad. My God is God. Your god is the Devil. All holy books I have read have a passage about treating others as you would be treated. (It is called the Golden Rule and is self-serving crap.) Most of the self-proclaimed righteous seem to skim over the exhortation and dwell instead on passages laden with negativity and choose to treat the other as evil incarnate heaping offering them hatred and emotional abuse.

It is at the point the ‘good’ people exhibit bad behavior that the balance shifts their soul into a state embracing evil, being the evil they claim to despise.

Our two primary political parties focus more on vilifying the other than serving We The People. Both parties abide in evil have become the bad people. And the devout fools blindly backing the partisan politicians instead of holding them to account are no better. Evil feeding upon evil generates more evil.

The Christian Pastor, the Muslim Imam preaching hate toward their counterparts have become the devil they claim to despise. Good people build bridges with love with the purpose to understand differences and live in harmony while evil constructs walls designed to isolate fanning the flames of hatred into an all-consuming inferno.
